Magic, scientifically explained
It's hard to define magic. After all we're talking about something that is by definition unscientifical, and therefore cannot have any rigorous definition whatsoever (oh yes, I used "by definition" on purpose). And so we have various explanations for magic in each imaginary world, if any; most of the time, however, magic is just there, unexplained. However, long time ago I came to a very simple conclusion. Get ready because I am going to talk about physics starting from now. I promise I will do it in the simplest way possible, but anyway - hem, hem: MAGIC IS THE VIOLATION OF THE FIRST LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS. What does that law say? It says that the total amount of energy in an isolated system is constant. In layman's terms, energy can be neither created nor destroyed. Magic, however, goes beyond that. As Eragon taught us (it has many defects but if there is something that saga has really done well is its magic system) magic is the manipulation of energy: but for doing such
